Located within the characteristic mountainous foothills of Sutatausa, the proposal emerges as an architectural extension conceived as a graft—one that does not replace what exists, but rather establishes a thoughtful dialogue between the existing structure and the new intervention, respecting and harnessing the site’s natural attributes to create a warm, functional, and naturally illuminated workspace.

Wood becomes the protagonist — a flexible, easily assembled system that shapes the extension while expressing craft, warmth, and constructive clarity.
The intervention is conceived as a lightweight addition, articulated through earthy and warm tones that pay tribute to the surrounding forest.
Rather than competing with the original structure, the graft complements it, extending its logic through texture, proportion, and atmosphere.
Large windows frame the natural setting and draw filtered light deep into the interior, creating a serene and enduring environment suited for study
